Sound profoundly influences the visual dimension of the works in the Monochrome and Vibrations series. Whether it's the sound of specific music or the notable absence of sound in moments of complete silence, the sounds within the studio, such as tools, paint mixing, footsteps, and background noises, become more pronounced and relevant. The dynamics, character, and energy of the sound find expression through the rhythmic movements of the hand on the canvas or paper. This is done with minimal visual control over the emerging work. What shapes the results is the sound itself and how it's conveyed through the hand's movements, much like a dance or the gestures of a conductor.
