GLOGAUAIR OPEN STUDIO, BERLIN, DECEMBER 2023

In December 2023, Lena Zak opened her residency studio at GlogauAIR Berlin to the public, showcasing her latest finished works from the second term of her art residency. Zak presented a collection of large and medium-scale works, centering her exploration on negative space and light in a direct relation to her art work. The studio transformed into an installation featuring a dynamic interplay of light and patterns, complemented by soundscape created by a fellow sound artist Linear Cowboy. The result was an immersive experience, referencing nightlife through darkened areas, light dynamics, and electronic music.
