GLOGAUAIR OPEN STUDIO, BERLIN, DECEMBER 2023
From December 15th to 16th, 2023, Lena Zak's latest Open Studio exhibition unfolded at GlogauAIR in Berlin. The studio served as a small exhibition space, presenting new small and large-scale paintings developed during the second term of her art residency at GlogauAIR. This time, Zak focused on exploring negative space and light in direct relation to her artwork. The studio transformed into an installation featuring a dynamic interplay of light and patterns, complemented by soundscapes created by @marco_experimental. The result was an immersive experience, referencing nightlife through darkened areas, light dynamics, and electronic music.
